HANG NG MANTIS KUNG FU ASSOCIATION
Discover the rich history and modern adaptations of Chow Gar Mantis Kung Fu under the guidance of Sifu Hang Ng. With roots tracing back to Ip Shui's renowned school in Hong Kong, Sifu Hang Ng's journey began in 1971. Impressed by the style's strength and toughness, he dedicated himself to mastering Chow Gar Mantis Kung Fu, developing unique abilities rarely found in other styles.
Despite residing abroad for several years, Sifu Hang Ng's dedication to his craft remained unwavering. He not only continued to practice but also made significant changes and improvements to the techniques he had learned. In 1987, he and his fellow Chow Gar Mantis brothers founded their own school in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Grand Master Ip Shui, who honored them with his attendance and made subsequent visits to Sifu Hang Ng's Kung Fu School.
Sifu Hang Ng embraces a modern and inclusive approach, respecting the traditions, virtues, and masters of other styles. This mindset has inspired him to make further enhancements to the techniques of Chow Gar Mantis Kung Fu. His belief that learning is an ongoing process fuels his constant quest for knowledge. In 2019, Sifu Hang Ng established the HANG NG MANTIS KUNG FU ASSOCIATION, solidifying his commitment to sharing his expertise and perpetuating the art.
